As a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the author of Foundations of Faith, Hope, & Love and host of the Trial of Faith Podcast shares various gospel insights as well as his own life experiences from over 40 plus years since joining the Church. Born and raised in the beautiful Berkshires of western Massachusetts, the author was blessed to be raised within a Christian home with devout parents who loved their church and did all they could to share their faith with their children.
Being the fifth of eight children, Andrew remembers well the large family gatherings and being surrounded by his brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles and especially his grandma Jane. While life growing up was full of fond memories, there were also the moments of trial and struggle. Having experienced life outside of the Church, and then having the opportunity to raise a family within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has provided the author and host with a unique perspective, insight and appreciation for what the restored gospel of Jesus Christ brings to the life of the individual and a family.
While serving as a hospital corpsman with the U.S. Navy, Andrew was first introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1981. Upon completion of his enlistment, Elder Caprio was blessed with the opportunity to serve as a full-time missionary for the Church in the France Paris Mission from 1984 to 1985. Later he went on to earn his bachelor's degree from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois and his master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 2011 Andrew received the U.S. Small Business Administration’s—Utah Small Business person of the Year award and in 2014 the medical company he founded in 2000 was named the National SCORE Awards—Outstanding Veteran Owned Small Business recipient.
